Summer is a great time for male fashionistos. The colours are dazzling to say the least and they certainly make my day. From oranges to bright yellows men are moving away from the drab greys and beiges and looking good doing so.

I took the daring step of buying my other half a couple yellow and bright blue golf shirts. I didn’t know what his reaction would be or if he would even wear them. To my surprise, he did but only in the backyard. Well, it is a start and I told him how great the colours looked on him even if he was only in the backyard. That should be an incentive for him to wear them on the street or to work one day.

But summer is not going to stick around for long so men get out there and buy some lime green, orange, pink, yellow and neon coloured shirts. There are numerous ways to tie a scarf around your neck but did you know there are other more creative ways to wear a scarf around your body? Here is the first of 100 ways to wear a scarf.

    

1)      The turban scarf tie.  If required, fold the scarf a couple tines lengthwise. Holding both ends spiral the scarf around  - each hand in opposite direction. You now have a rolled scarf which you will place around the forehead and tie at the back. For a longer scarf you may have to circle the crown of your head twice. Scarf can be tied or secured to the back or the front, depending on where you start . When the ends meet at the front secure with a fancy broach.
